This week in privacy related news, the Electronic Frontier Foundation won a court case against the US Department of Homeland Security regarding suspicionless searches of electronic devices at the US border. This is a big win for privacy advocates everywhere! The EFF has been doing privacy advocacy since 1990. You can check out their archives here to see how their work as evolved in the past 29 years.
Speaking of archives, ACLU has several interesting resources on Privacy and Technology, including notable cases from the past 20 years.
