Dev Fund update:
Two weeks ago, ECC released its Initial Assessment on the Community Proposals. Today we also released an update which includes responses to revised proposals, new proposals and removes proposals withdrawn by their author.
Crypto Community Project in the South Bronx – “The Underestimated”
This week we also launched a new microsite for a crypto bootcamp that we organised alongside Carlos Acevedo, a local high school teacher who wanted to teach his students about how digital currencies can help their high-crime, low income community. We joined forces with Gemini, Messari, Flexa and Casa and other individuals to support Carlos with his mission. Here is the website for more details and stories on the students. We also have a call to action so that we can join forces with more people and projects globally to set up more bootcamps like this in all corners of the world. Big thank you to everyone who was involved in this one and keep an eye out for the next one. We aren’t stopping here.
Transparency Report
We also released our latest quarterly Transparency Report. Electric Coin Company is committed to openness and transparency — as we help evolve and support the Zcash digital currency, and in support of our mission to empower everyone with economic freedom and opportunity.

Some members of the team will be attending CryptoSprings next week so if you will be there, give us a shout! Brad Miller will also be speaking at AvantPay, 30th Sept – 1st Oct, an event that converges public and private sector experts tackling business and regulatory challenges for payments, cannabis, and cryptocurrency industries.
